Which cards to remove in the 3 2 5 card game

The 3 2 5 card game (Teen Do Paanch) is played by three people with a 30-card deck, not the full 52. Here is exactly what to take out.

Cards to remove

That removes 22 cards and leaves 30.

Cards you keep

A, K, Q, J, 10, 9 and 8 of all four suits (28 cards), plus the 7 of spades and the 7 of hearts. Together that is 30 cards.

Why 30 cards?

Three players with 10 cards each is 30. A round has 10 tricks, and the quotas 5, 3 and 2 add up to 10. Read how to play 3 2 5 for the quotas and the full rules for a scoring example.

Note: house rules differ between families and regions. This page describes the version described on this site.
